Elizabeth (Heater) Thompson, Huntingdon Co., PA

I believe I may have a relationship to the Isaac George Heeter family, but I haven't been able to establish how yet. I descend from an Andrew and Elizabeth (Heater) Thompson, who came from Huntingdon Co., PA in the early 1840s and stayed for a while in Wabash Co., IN before moving further on to Bureau Co., IL. Most internet sources I've seen spell Elizabeth's name as "Hecter" or "Hector", but I believe this is a typo or transcription error. I found a biography of one of her daughters in a local history book that spelled it "Heater", which makes more sense as you can find Heeter families in Huntingdon Co., PA in the 1790 and 1800 censuses.

The problem is that I don't know where Elizabeth would fit into this family. She was born 1 May 1792. Sebastian Heeter's fifteen children seem to be all accounted for, so perhaps she is a niece of his? Does anybody have any thought on whom her parents might be?

I did a RootsWeb search for individuals born in "Huntingdon" and died in "Wabash" and got several pages of emigrants from Huntingdon Co., PA to Wabash Co., IN, which suggests to me that this was a popular migration route taken by several different families.
