I have Jacob s/o Jacob and Delilah (Riffle) Heater, married to two women at the same time, is this correct? If not, who is this other Jacob? (1)Jacob Heater and Susannah Riffle d/o Isaac Riffle m. Sept 6, 1845, Braxton Co., VA(WV). (2)Jacob Heater and Emzy E. Berry m. May 10, 1847, Braxton co., VA(WV). (1)Jacob and Susannah Heater lived in the household of Jacob Isaac and Francena (Blake) Riffle during the 1850 Braxton Co. VA(WV) Census. Jacob I was Susannah's brother. Heater, Jacob 26 Susannah 27 William D. 3 John W. 9/12 (2)Jacob and Emsey Heater lived in the household of Delilah Heater during the 1850 Braxton Co Census. Delilah was Jacob's mother. Heater, Jacob 26 Emsy 24 Naoma/Norma 1/12 I've seen some family sheets that have Mary as a child born 1848 but she was not listed in the 1850 Braxton Co Census on Rootsweb? Could the Mary listed as Jacob sister's daughter in the 1850 census(same household) as 4 yrs. old be Jacob and Emsy's or could Mary 2 yrs old have been missed from the census??? Mary(child) is listed in the households of Jacob Heater(as 12 yrs old) and James and Mary(Jacob's sister) Bragg(as 13 yrs old) in 1860 Braxton Co. Census, could this maybe be one Mary(child) and could have been visiting one or the other household at census time in that area??? These two seperate Heater families also appeared in the 1860 and 1870 Braxton Co. Census in their own seperate households. Can someone please clear this up for me.... Thanks Cindy Eagle Pettey
