Hello Enid

I have gone over the newspaper clipping I have of Sarah Heathers death notice and don't know if there is a connection between our 2 families or not. I will be happy to email you a copy if you would like, in case any of the names sound family to you. I don't know how large Elvetham is, or was, but because I don't think Heathers is that common a name, there could be a connection somewhere down the line.
Have you checked the 1881 census for Elvetham? I believe I found my John and Sarah Heathers on there, and during that search I found another John Heathers, who was 40 years old at the time, married to Eliza Heathers, who was 33 years old. Their children were listed as Mary, Eliza, Thomas, Emma, and Florence. If your George was born in 1882 he would not have been on it. This sounds like your family. If you don't have a copy of this census I can also email this to you, if you don't have it.

Regards
Judi
