My paternal grandfather is Thomas Ausburn Hedgepath, son of D.F. Hedgepath, my great grandfather.

What I have is based on oral history from Lillian Hedgepath Stabler, my father's sister, with additional information from my cousin's wife Gloria Jean Hedgepath Ballew.

Apparantly D.F. was sired by Peter Ausburn Hedgepath, born 1802 and died circa,1850-1860. He was said to be a farmer. He married Elizabeth______? Peter was sired by John Hedgepath who was supposedly born in 1767, possibly in England, and was recorded in the 1840 census in Chersterfield County between the age of 70-80 years old.

I can not vouch for the accuracy of the above for I haven't seen the sources. I have more information on D.F. if you are interested.

If you learn more please let me know.

Sincerely,

Bob Hedgepath
