I have a family tree that is of some questionable accuracy before my great great grandfather Peter A. Hedgepath, born 1802 in Chersterfield? County S.C. His father is reported to have been a John Hedgepath born 1767 (not sure where) and was apprantly reported in the census of 1840 in Chersterfield,S.C. between the ages of 70-80. I wonder if this is the same ancestor. Do you have a Peter Ausburn listed among his children.?
