My g grandmother was Sarah Hedgepath who married Caleb Weir(Ware) Shirley. Someone on internet listed her as daughter of John Hedgepath and wife Rhoda Grubbs, both buried in Chapman Burying Ground, Chester County, SC. Dates on Rhoda Grubbs Hedgepath's marker are died Feb 13, 1841, in her 70th year. Sarah Hedgepath was born in 1825. There must be a missing generation. Sarah and Caleb are buried in Greenwood Cemetery on Cambridge St in Greenwood, SC. A family of Hedgepaths lived in Clover: father was James A. Hedgepath according to marker in Woodside Cemetery, born 29 Oct 1860, died 3 July 1906. Wife and 5 children are also buried there. Would like info on Sarah's ancestors.
