My mother was KATHERINE HEDGPATH (s/a HEDGEPATH) of Fairfield and Chester Counties, SC.

Our earliest proven ancestor is JOHN HEDGEPETH/HEDGEPATH, b. 1768 in Virginia (according to his tombstone in the Chapman Burying Ground, Halsellville Section, Chester County, where he died in 1841. I'm told this tiny cemetery is virtually inaccessible, but would like to get a 4-wheel drive vehicle and go to see it sometime. Are you interested in further communication?
