Hello,
Your great grandmother, Bertie Hedgpeth, was my father Murray Vardell Hedgpeth's sister. My father was the youngest child and your great grandmother was the oldest. I remember going to Aunt Bertie's funeral. My father married Blanche Floyd and later moved to Hoke County. Before the move, they had five children, all boys: Bobby, Jimmy, Charles, Vardell, Jr., and myself(Steve). When I was born in 1945, we were living on Aunt Bertie and Uncle Archie's farm. My grandfather, Joseph Wynn, was born in 1852 and grandmother,Emma, was born in 1865. My father, Vardell, was born in 1905 and died in 1985 and my mother, Blanche, was born in 1915 and is still living. I enjoyed seeing your message and if I can help you in the future please let me know.
Steve Hedgpeth
