In 1910 Harry J Heidle can be found in 3-WD FREEDOM BORO, BEAVER, PA and was recorded as RR brakeman. We had found him in Leroy, PA in 1900 recorded as a 'servant.' Or should we say 'Dutch boy'? (grin)

Harry's WWI draft record can be found in Chicagoland. From this record he was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1887. By the time of his draft registration in 1917 he was married to Norma. By all appearances he died near Freeport, Illinois. His death record could provide the names of his father and mother and also could lead to his obit which could further lead to connected Heidels in PA.

My gr-uncle Frank Heidel married a girl who was likely from a town in Lycoming County, PA - about 25 miles south of Leroy. This marriage was about the same time of Harry's marriage to Norma, but I do not know where. My gr-uncle may have attended college in Chicago and was later a dentist in Mankato, MN where my father was born.
