Heidels of California, MO

In the 1880 Moniteau County MO census, Lizette Heidel, 19, was a servant in the home of Niles R. Rice. Minnie Heidel, 17, was a servant in the home of William Fulks. Mamie Heidel was a servant in the home of John H. Anderson.

By 1900, Lizette, now called Lettie (?Lizzie) is married to Fred Dolstein (Dahlstein) and has five children: Emma 14, Willie 12, Clara 12, Henry 8, and George 5. In the 1910 census, Lizette is now called Settie or Setta, and only two children are still at home with her and Fred: Clara 20 and George 15.

By the 1900 census, Helmuth Heidel and his wife Fredericka, are now called Henry Hidel and wife, Eureka Hidel. Their son, George Hidel 24 was still single and lived with them.

A John Hidel and Albert W. Hidel are also listed in the 1900 Moniteau County, MO, census.
