I found this website last night and replied to your earlier posting about the Heidels in Green Lake Wisconsin. I clarified my connection to Fredric Heidle of Mackford. His son Fredrick M Heidel moved on to Twin Groves Greenwood Kansas before ending up in Hillsboro Oregon with his wife Ursula Mary Sacks where they lived for many years. The Heidle house was their home. If Fredrick Heidel of Portland is related to Fredrick G Heidel born in 1880, then we should talk.
As I mentioned in my message last night, my grandmother Bertha Inez Heidle was the first born of Fredrick M Heidel in 1877 in Wisconsin. The other children were born in Kansas. Lewis 1879, Fredrick G 1880,Carl A 1882, Minnie E 1883, Herbert O 1886, August E 1889, Mary G 1890 and Wilma 1893.
I am a complete novice at this geneology research and have been lucky enough to meet 3 first cousins who have helped me enormously. We are all Calhouns - Homer Caples Calhoun married Bertha I Heidle. If you like, please email me at Calhoungay1@gmail.com
