Thanks for the reply. However, there is no easy soltion to this problem. The names are
from a ship's passenger list in NY in 1852, and no
destination was listed. This was the first
indication that Christoph was married, and
the son Carl was an infant. No other names
given. My Great-Grandfather was Christoph's
nephew, and originally listed his destination
as Michigan, (but never got farther than Buffalo, NY) - my only clue about Christoph's
possible destination.
Christoph also had an older sister, Maria
Eleanora Elizabeth (b1818), who left for Quebec years earlier,
who was unmarried with a possible son.

My family is distantly related to the "Descendants of Hartwig Heidel" by a connection I made in the 1700's if anyone
is interested.
