Hi Molly,

I'm not aware of any "proof" that Christian's wife was named Sabra other than the fact his grand-daughter was named Sabra. Sabra Middleton, dau of John wasn't born untill 1737 so that eliminates her as a possible wife of Christian. I'm sure his wife was a Middleton since John names a Middleton as cousin in his will. My own thoughts are that John Middleton had a sister Sabra who married Christian.
