My main interest in the Heidelberg genealogy is did any slaves marry a white Heidelberg and who are their offsprings. Also, if not which Heidelberg masters have slaves and where did they come from. Their is a book by Betty Couch Wiltshire called the Mississippi Index of Wills 1800-1900
this book may give you a lot of information about your family branch. There's also a book by Daniel Webster Heidelberg written in 1925 called Family Records of the Heidelbergs and Granberries this may be helpful also. As far as the guy you mentioned who wants the information you find out, I have tons of information on the white Heidelbergs from Mississippi that goes all the way back to Germany. The first one was a man name Christian Heidelberg who came to Onslow, North Carolina from The Palinate Germany. He was married to Sabra Middleton and had two sons John Christian and Samuel Christian. I haven't found any records of Samuel Christian having kids but John Christian had 5 girls and 3 boys John Christian, Thomas Christian and Samuel Christian and was married to Catherine McClammy. The Heidelbergs in Mississppi came from Thomas Christian who from Onslow, North Carolina moved to Hancock, Georgia. He had 3 Girls and 3 boys Thomas Christian, Samuel Christian, and John Christian and was married to Nancy Harriett Moffett. Around 1820 he moved to Jasper County, Mississippi. From there we have a whole database of Heidelbergs in Mississippi. I have more information if you would like or you could have the guy personally respond to me. Good luck and keep me informed.
