My grandfather, William Heim was born in Chicago 6/23/1877 and married Margaretha Kuechler abt. 1905 with 3 children: Helen, Chester, Charlotte; sisters Marie, Molly & one brother (Unkn) He died in 1956. His father was Frederich Heim who came over from Germany to Chicago and died in 1922. First wife and mother of William was Maria; he remarried after her death around 1890.
I think Frederich came over by himself and Maria so rest of family had stayed in Germany.
