I'm into Heims but I think they might have come from Stuttgart. My girlfriend is into Erk (Michael) from Fulda, Germany. Neither of us know where Fulda is. Her grandfather's family and many others moved to Liebling, Romania in the late 1700s, but some of the family stayed behind. My Heim side came to Chicago some time around 1870--Frederick and Maria Heim and my grandfather, William was born here in 1877 but had older brothers and sisters who were born in Germany and died at an early age in Chicago.
