Looking for information on John Michael Heintz (1685-1747)of Germany who immigrated from Germany between 1716 to 1723 and settled in Chester Co. and Bucks Co., Pennsylvania, and was a succesful farmer there. His son John Georg Anton (Anthony) Heintz (1715-1791) anglizied the name to Haines and his Christian name to Anthony. He left Bucks Co., Pa., for Baltimore Co., Maryland and settled there. His son Jacob Haines (1747-1820) moved to then Fredrick Co. now Carroll Co., Maryland and settled in New Windsor. My fourth great-grandfather Isaac Haines (1785-1868)moved to Pennsylvania and then to Ohio, settling in Stark County aroud 1830. Many of my family still live in Ohio.

Would like to learn more about these ancestors and in particular where Michael Heintz came from in Germany and what his life here was like.
