I am researching my ggg grandparents from the Alsace region. My ggg grandmother's name was Catharine Heintz (possibly Marie Anne Catharine Heintz). She married George M. Waltz (born in Strasbourg) around 1824. They had two children while still living in France--John (born 1828) and Catharine (born 1830). It is very possible that they were living in the village of Riedseltz in the providence of Wissembourg. Does Catharine Heintz connect to your research at all? If so, please contact me at:
