2 Heitman brothers missing from our family tree...
What we know: Three brothers left Germany together after their father died and they were left under the care of their stepmother. They left behind two, possibly three younger sisters in Germany.
The young brothers (early teens) stole away on a ship. When they were discovered, they were dropped off in South America. They eventually caught another boat that took them to California. This is where the brothers parted ways. One headed northwest (we know his history) and the other two headed east to see the rest of America. All contact was lost, however, the brother that we know about lead a very happy and successful life (see Heitman Mountain, Heitman Lake, Heitman Road, etc.)
