I have copy of a Land Grant,1770 to William Hellum issued by George the Third for 200 acres on the North Fork of Rayburns Creek in Laurens Co , SC on 5th day of June, 1770. I have this document but nothing else. I have traced my ancestors back to James and Elizabeth Heluums. Both were born approx 1801 and were listed in the 1850 Census in Greene County, Indiana.
