I am still learning the family research process. You mentioned a book "The Hellums Family" 1765-1984, by Earle C. Hellums. How would I go about getting this book. I don't know if my Hellums line is the same but I think some of them at one time or another went to Texas. My paternal GG-grandfather was a Jonathan Hellum , NC, m. Mary Hargett, TN -their son,Esquire Wilson Hellums was my G-grandfather. He was married to Elizabeth Jane Burnine. My grandfather, Esquire & Eliz. son, George Raymond Hellums was my grandfather m. Lula Mae Leatherwood.
I am still very interested in learning all I can on the Hellums ancestry.
