Hello Deborah, I am Mary's daughter Kate. I was browsing and thought I'd pass on alittle info that I have. I remember my grandmother (Florence) talking about visiting relatives named Cranmer in Tuckerton. I'm pretty sure they were relatives on her mother's side. Cranmer is a very popular name in So. Jersey, probably one of the first to settle there. When my sister tried getting records, though, she was told there was a fire where the records were kept. I've been trying to find a link Farley/Grant and Cranmer. The only thing I stumbled on was that there was a contractor Grant/Cranmer somewhere around 1920 in Tuckerton area. I also found out that William Helmlinger's
father was George Helmlinger and he was married to Mary Collins in St. James Church in Newark. So we're alittle less German than we thought.
