Loretta, I have a Christian HELMLINGER b. 06 Jul. 1828 Alsace Loraine, France to Christian & Margaret Schlemmer Helmlinger. He married 30 Apr. 1854 in Niles,Berrien Co., MI. to Elizabeth COIL. In 1860, he was the head of his family in German Twp. Marshall Co.,IN. In 1895, he was in Anderson Co. KS. & died 19 Feb. 1903 Kincaid, KS. Chn: Jackson b. 29 Jul. 1856 St. Joseph Co.,IN.; Margaret Ione b. 11 Jun. 1858 St. Joseph Co.IN.; Cora Ellen, b. 13 Feb. 1860 St. Joseph Co.IN.; Dora Belle, b. 27 Dec. 1862, also St. Jos.Co.,IN.; Drusilla, b. 23 May 1866, Plymouth, IN.; Martha Ann, b. 22 Oct. 1869 Plymouth, IN.; Ephraim Bass Helmlinger b. 19 Mar. 1876 Breman, Marshall Co.,IN.; Leroy Helmlinger b. 14 Apr. 1877 Marshall Co.IN,; Rachel Helmlinger b. 04 Jan. 1881, IN. Does any of this information connect to your family? The Helmlingers in Indiana are related to mine. I don't find Aleda or Aletha in my data base. Married names of the women listed are: De Coudres, Valk, Irwin, Matteson, Sigler, Dixon, & Palmer. Let me know since I have a correspondent, who may have more data on this particular family.
