Where did you find that she was from Prussia? I have Germany (I guess Prussia is now a part of Germany) OR Denmark. I also have John as her father, as listed on her death certificate, but I wonder at the validity of that information.

The only documentation I've seen on Margretha is her death certificate and some of Frederick's pension papers. Have you come across anything else?

Have a look at the post below yours from Guenther. If the name is quite rare and it is a location name, we might be able to pinpoint where she came from.
