I am the great, great grandson of Katherine Helmlinger who married James Patrick Quinn, Jr.

According to the military records I obtained and death certificate, Frederick was born in Germany but an uncle of mine who spent many years doing the family tree also says he was born in Ingriller, France. He also says relatives say Margaretha's last name may have been changed to King or possibly Koenig.

Fredericks father was Phillip and US pension records say he was born in Germany as was his wife so there is a chance that Frederick was also born in Germany.

Frederick was 38 when he married Margartha who was 18.
