Seeking information of the ancestral families of:

Heinrich Friedrich Ahrenholz, born September 19, 1826, in Wieda, Lower Saxony, Germany (then in the Duchy of Braunschweig/Brunswick), who died on February 17,1900, in St. Louis, Missouri, United States; and

Caroline Christiane Friederike Helwig, born September 14, 1835 in the neighboring village of Zorge, who died on January 8, 1916, in St. Louis.

Heinrich and Caroline married in Zorge on December 4, 1859, and emigrated from Bremen in 1864 with their son, Wilhelm Carl Friedrich Ahrenholz, who was born on October 25, 1861, in Wieda.

Heinrich's parents were Christian Heinrich Ahrenholz and Johanna Auguste Margarete Hartung.

Caroline's parents were Johann Christian Wilhelm Helwig and Dorothee Henriette Elisabeth Rakel.
