Hi Karen, we've passed each other often on this board and I can't help butwonder if you feel the same as myself and my cousin Frederick Holle (we're both Helwig's also) that the Helwig family (originally from Transylvania and left during the ethnic cleansing) are just one large family. All the same names are constantly repeated over and over and the Helwig's usually had lots of children. When following the threads, we come back to the same place. Our family left Hesse Kassel in Germany and came to family in Pennsylvania and in my case Jamaica, W.I. Frederick's side of the family left Jamaica to join family in Pennsylvania where there were already Helwig's established. I was curious what your thoughts were on this. Hpoe to hear from you soon!
