Have you ever seen "The World Book of Helwig's"?
This is the only international compilation of Helwig Families available today. This has a list of Helwig's who have put their names in this book. You can add your name if they ever update this book. It also has many Backgrounds of the name Helwig. I'm a Helwig by marriage.
OUR HELWIG FAMILY: This family from Peter Helwig came from Transylvania, Romania (Saxons) and immigrated to Northwest Indiana.
I am not selling this book whatsoever. I just thought you may be able to purchase a copy for your future researching information.
I wasn't sure if you knew about this book.
3687 Ira Road
PO BOX 5000
it cost 41.38 at the time of our purchase. 1996.
I'm searching my side of the family. I haven't even tried the Helwig's yet.
I do know some of our Helwig's did immigrate to PA. But don't know who or exactly when. sorry.
Thank you for your time,
