I have the Helwig connection back into germany. My ancestor Frederick, was the brother of Andreas (Andrew) in your posting. Have you found the "Federick Helwig Memorial" by Sylvia Richards published in 1979 at Willard, Ohio? She has a lot of background information on the Helwigs and Baaders. I have changed some of the earlier information based on our research and have info on two generations in Germany
