I'm doing research on the surname Helwig. The family has surnames included: Dipple, Laurent, Leaird, Seibel.

Nicolas is my great grandfather. he had Valentine, August (dec 18 1889 - 197?), William (Only one born in Germany) they spent time in Kokomo Indiana, Detroit, and Western PA (Pt. Marian area)

Valentine had Geraldine
William had William & Harriet
August had Mary, Gilbert, Charles, Edward, Lawrence

Nicolas Helwig worked for the Haynes automobile factory, and holds patents for brakes and carborators for the Haynes Automobile, built in Kokomo, In.

Any help with a common branch????
