im trying to help my brother rodman albert hemmer find his true family. the information i have now is homer rodman hemmer b:8-4-1903 and d:5-17-1991 married to a lulu effie rae she d:8-15-1985 and buried at mt.washington cemetary in kansas city. their son being robert neil hemmer b:4-27-1923 and d:2-15-1995 in arkansas being married to lavern smith and having rodman albert hemmer. the old story goes though that roberts true name should of been DAVIS after his true father jack davis, robert was supposed to be a twin as the story goes and his family lived by the railroad in a depot shack of sorts and the baby (robert) got snatched from a window and im not sure how he ended up with the hemmers but robert neil davis became robert neil hemmer when he entered school but not sure which school he went to. when the names got changed all other information was lost or gotten rid of and i am in desperate need of help on this one do to the fact that jack davis was supposed to be full blooded cherokee indian from oklahoma. my brother is putting in for his indian card and needs this pertanent information. it was either roberts or homers niece ROBIN GIBBS that has helped with the care of them and has some of the old dtories down and some information down in books and on paper. anyone with knowledge of this story or this family please contact me at the addy of silverhawkmaiden@excite.com. and i do greatly appreciate this very much. his sister linda esiline and family
