Hello Gertrude,
I am Ronald Hemmer from Scottsdale, Arizona. I am also a descendent of the Froenerhof Hemmer clan. My descendent was Nicholas and then his son Peter who moved from Froenerhof to Kaulbach (now Kreimbach-Kaulbach) and married a Bohsung (Bossong).

I have visited Froenerhof many years ago and also Melingen and Enkenbach.

I responded about the gravestone that belonged to Magdalena Gall Hemmer some time ago.

I think that some of their children died early but one had descendents into the 1900s.

I am now with the die Deutsche Bundeswehr in Feisabad, Afghanistan and I do not have my papers with me. On rootsweb.com I am ronniehemmer and I have submitted some of my records to the website.

I will write to you later. I am hoping to go to Germany in January (Frankfurt) but I don't know if I will have time to go to the Kaiserslautern area on this visit.

I hope to meet you some time. I am going to return to Germany in 2011 to study an intensive German course.

I would be very happy to hear from you.

Best Wishes,

Ronald Hemmer
Scottsdale, Arizona (aber jetzt Faisabad, Afghanistan)
