We're still trying to solve this one. Thanks to the Ellis Island Records going on line, we have a date for arrival, but more confusion on where August really came from, and no more on any family who might have been in America.

Our August Henke arrived at Ellis Island, on April 28, 1906, on board the Patricia. His residence was listed as Petra, and on the manifest, he is shown as German Russian, although all other records list Posen/German as his place of birth.

In addition to Petra, shown on the manifest for the Patricia, the naturalization papers show someplace like Ruzwat.

Anyone have any clues, or a missing brother or son?
