Re: Henke Coat of Arms

I am a first generation American, and my grandparents (m. Henke, f. Jark) were born in North Germany near the town of Otterndorf. Nearest big city is Bremerhaven.

Anyway, my grandmother paid someone to do some research in Germany about a coat of arms. There was a big write-up about it, and a color drawing was also created.

Right now, I am trying to verify the authenticity of the image. I purchased the "Johann Siebmachers Wappenbuch von 1605" online from "" - the German That book has hundreds of German coat of arms from around the 1600s - but alas, no "Henke" coat of arms was found.

So, I am still looking into the research and authenticty of the coat of arms . . .
