Possibly, and thanks for posting. We are not even sure if we have the right gg grandfather. What we do know is that my g grandfather was Leonard, supposedly born at Waihola in 1873 (but can't find records to support birth) and that his surname had been changed to Hankey by 1899 when he married Kate Buckeridge at Paeroa. Leonards fathers name is actually reported to be Henry but we can't find information on Henry's arrival in NZ. Have come across Henrich Wilhelm Henke as above (also, died Waihola 21 July 1916) who seems to have a child Leonard of approx correct age but it is a loose connection.
Does any of this tie in?
