Cathy,
Thank you for all the info. The only thing we have about my gg grandfather is from his marriage certificate which says he came from 'Prosedora Prussia'. I have never heard of Prosedora so I wondering if it should be Posen?

The other info on him from his newspaper obit says he came to America in about 1859 or 1860 with his parents, brothers and sisters and settled in Milwaukee. At his funeral (1930)were 1 brother in Minneapolis, one sister from Rochester, MN and one aunt Mrs. Minnie Juedes, Milwaukee. Darn--why couldn't they have listed his siblings names?!

I will go through all your info and see if I can connect SOMEHOW. Do you have access to old Minneapolis or Rochester newspapers? I wonder if they would have printed anything about the Henke's coming down to their brothers funeral in Richfield, WI on August 15, 1930?
