Olmsted Historical site has a search engine for news paper items-I don't have their link-MN people Finder marriage-MOMS http//
I think goverment has news papers which I believe has Twin Cities area is included, don't remember what it was called. Hope links work being if they died in MN & you know moms maiden surname-be way to sift though all the other Henkes & if sister was married here-marriage MOMS may be help finding her & hubby's name-if that don't find info you may have to go to church that they once belonged to-she may had married there & maybe she sponcered a families child-in Milwaukee,WI or other families church.

I have trouble getting links to work-so hope a kind person can fix my mistakes. I can not travel, know MN Historical Socity in St.Paul has micro film of state news papers.

No, I have never heard of that place-it maybe spelt wrong-but I don't have much knowledge other than my own families-you can try at kartenmeister to find town or kreis=county,if you think they are from Posen, you can try Poznan project which they have added more marriages 1800-1890 & keep checking back to see if more is added. Wished I could had helped you further-I myself would like to know of connections-wishing you the best of luck,Cathy
