We have some of the same names for children in our Henke family...Our Henke's are from around the Wood County, or Portage County, Wisconsin area...We have just started digging
for the information on this family...The first henke that we know of is a Fredrick Henke who married a Wilhelmenia Behling in
1870..He was born in Germany, about 1840.
We have no idea if any of them went to Nebraska later or not. If you think you are related to the same area as us, please write back. Thanks....
