I am looking for information on my gg and g grandparents. My grandmother died when my mother was a small child and there was a great deal of confusion amoung her younger siblings about where their father (Samuel Henning) was born. They all agreed his mother (Mary Emerson) was Irish and his father (John Henning) was either English or Welsh. They all could agree he was the youngest of 13 children and were only able to collectively remember the names of a few. They thought several went to Australia to live and a few ended up here in the US.
I think John (the son) may have ended up here because I found a John Henning listed in the 1920 census next to Samuel Henning in Bourbon County Kansas. May or may not be him though.
Here is what I do have. If any one has anything they think might match or help, please contact me.
