Sorry Barkston Lodge or Carnmeen area/Sheepbridge Area of Newry, Co Down is no where in my records?
There was an old family story that three Henning brothers came from Holland with the army of King William in 1690 and one settled in Rathfriland and one in Newry and the other one settled in Kilkeel, but I can not tie them together.
At that time Ireland was one country and some records from now Northern Ireland was destroyed and the South Ireland government destroyed all records from the North dated before 1900, so I can go no further back.
I would be instreated in the Henning book as would my Henning relitives in Northern Ireland, if you ould let me know where I could get one when it comes out
