A somewhat indirect follow up: I'm actually researching my Dancy/Dancey family from Ireland, and I've found (on Ancestry .com a Hennings family tree (which I can't fully access as I don't subscribe to Ancestry) & which seems to include a number of my Danceys, going back to Dr Edward Dancey (b 1796) emigrated to Aylmer Ontarion & his parents John & Margaret. So I'm curious as to what the Dancey/Dancy & Henning connection is, & would appreciate some more info on this as it may also connect up 2 Dancey branches that i thught were connected but couldn't find the link. My Danceys originated from Monaghan/Cavan. Please let me know if you have any info however vague!
