Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Good luck with your search. The spelling of the name varies, the 2 "n" version seems to be more popular, and the family that I'm interested in (Peter Henion and Elizabeth Sharp and their descendants) apparently dropped one "n" in the late 1700s. Peter Henion, Jr., a son of Peter & Elizabeth, lived in St. Lawrence County, New York, in early 1800s, but seems to have left the area. I'm looking for info on his wife and children, if any. Since I don't know where he moved, I don't know if he could be your ancestor. Since many other Hennions lived in the Hudson valley, I would think you are looking for another line of this family.
