Brian,

We have Samuel Hennion b. 6 Nov 1813 bp. Pompton Plains, Morris Co., NJ. The pension record of his son Henry says his mother was Phebe Adams and the death record in the pension of Samuel's son Peter says Phoebe A. Devon. (There may be confusion in the second one.)

On-line I came across a cemetery record showing Samuel's parents buried at Old Montezuma Cemetery in Cayauga Co., NY, with a couple of their daughters. They were Hendrick J. Hennion (his dates match) and Eleanor Sisco. I believe her stone says Ellen. Parents of Hendrick were John Hennion and Sarah Bertholf.

You can e-mail me at cldhahn@goes.com if you want to compare facts, etc.

Cheryl Hahn (my Hennion research partner is Brenda Wilde)
