Charles Henri/Henry Family in Michigan
Posted by: T. Montreuil (ID *****7923) Date: July 15, 2012 at 17:22:34

I am looking for any historical information concerning my paternal grand-father Dewey Henry, thought to be born in Escanaba MI, 10 Aug 1898 to Charles Henry & Marguerite- Marcelline Bazinet. Siblings to Dewey were Archie, Elizabeth, Dora, Charles, Destalise, Joseph and Mathilde.

The family originated from Quebec, Canada but somehow found their way to settle in Michigan for a while, then moved back to Canada for subsequent permanent residency.

Would anyone have ANY info to why they went to the States, how long they were there, what year they moved back to Canada, was Dewey really born in Escanaba, etc...

Thank you for your time.
TM
