Dear Joan,

I was just doing a "google.com" search and typed in "Hepperlen" just for fun. I ended up getting a bunch of hits on you. I'm not sure what part of Germany my "kinfolk" are from, but I could put you in contact with my uncle, Harry Michael Hepperlen III (who goes by Mike), who does know. He recently traveled to Europe specifically to do genealogy research, and now suspects that our roots originally trace back to Switzerland. I would love to learn more about your family, and how many other Hepperelens there are.
