Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The Herendeens mostly came from RI originally. One clan emigrated to Ontario County, NY from Adams,MA, and they are the ones who settled around Farmington, NY and adjacent Wayne Co.
Benjamin Herendeen, or Harrington, or Herrington had two lines of descent from him, and they merged when cousins Pennsylvania Herendeen and Joshua Herrington married. It gets interesting after that!
