Dear Sylvia,
I was amazed to find so easily a link with my fanily through you on this site. i notice that you have had no follow up from your message since 2002. i have only recently discovered that my fathers family originated in Chacombe, and visited the village for the first time only in July with my cousin. My great grandfather Charles heritage was born in Chacombe but moved as a young man with his wife Amy Parish from the village to become a waggoner on the Aston estate in Birmingham at the end of the 19th century. My grandfather Frank was born there in 1900, and was only 8 months old at the time of the 1901 census. Eventually he moved to Polesworth in North warwickshire and met my grandmother Alice Gilliver. They then moved to Arley, a mining village where my father ,also Frank, was born. In the 1930's the family moved to the town of Nuneaton, and my mother nad father both lived on the same street. I was born there in 1957. I am aDeputy Headteacher in a large comprehensive school in Oxford, am married to Wendy and we have two sons James (18) and Chris (15).
I have 6 cousins through the Heritage line, and they would be fascinated to hear that you have information on the family going back to the late 17th century. Please do contact me as I would be delighted to receive any information that you can give us. Where are you by the way?
Yours Kevin Heritage
