BATTLE OF BRYAN'S STATION 1782, KY
Posted by: WOODY HAMMOND (ID *****8333) Date: May 15, 2009 at 13:28:51
  of 2750

I need info on the Herndons who were at Bryan's Station in KY in 1782 when it was attacked by the Indians and British under Simon Girty in 1782. It has been called the last battle of the Revolutionary War.

Mary Herndon FICKLIN, possible wife of Thomas Ficklin, Joseph Ficklin or John Ficklin
Thomas HERNDON
Samuel HERNDON
Edward HERNDON
Zachariah HERNDON
David HERNDON
Henry HERNDON
Lt. Thomas HERNDON (may be same Thomas noted above)
Sara Clement HAMMOND, wife of John Hammond (possibly my line)
Not all of these were at the fort or station at the time of the battle.

I am trying to determine if many (any) of these later settled in the Logan Co., and Warren Co., KY area and perhaps moved on to MO.

Thanks in advance,
