All,

I made the trip to Maidstone, Kent, England on 24 July and was very lucky. I found All Saints Church quickly as it is very popular and our Kentish cousins are nice and helpful people. The church is located near the River Medway.

I made the trip because I believe that I am related to William Herndon mentioned on page 333 of Dr. John G. Herndon article "Six Herndon Immigrants to Colonial America" The William and Mary Quarterly, Second Series, Vol. 23, No. 3 (Jul., 1943), pp. 331-335

I may be making a return visit in two weeks to obtain a copy of William Herndon and Jane Benskin's marriage record from 6 Aug 1671 if possible.
