Hello Jessica,First Off ,Most of my Lines are in Paper,BUT essentially my Line Runs Through a Joel Herndon (Unknow Father at This time,However Joel was suppposed to be born in Washington Co,Va Ca 1806 and he Married a Sarah Denning who was b in Halfax Co,Va.Joel Is listed in the 1867 Loyalty Oaths for Winston Co,Al .along with Caleb Herndon,James M Herndon and a Thomas D Herndon,They also were Listed in Nc,SC/Ga/and then eventually moved into Missouri where My Joel Died and is Buried in The Ozark Baptist Church Yard There.He sired among others One Thomas D Herndon who m a Mary S Miller b Gainesville Ga,to my Grandmother Julia T Herndon who m Francis Wesley Allen to my Mother Ollie H Allen who m my Father Charles L McLaud to Me Richard D McLaud...I Lost a Lot of Geneology (about 40-50 Years of it).in the Flood of 2008 here in Iowa,but retained and Saved 14 Volums by Rescuing them from the Flood Waters.May I ask what Herndons you are Looking for,Maybe I can Help........INcidently.I also am Related to a CRaig Davis,and his Family That Came out of (Who knows where..(Originally) But His Family DID live here in Iowa But NOW lives in Texas.......Try to take your Line Back and Mention The Male line as you Go Plus any Females tied to them and I'll Bail in to help you,as I have for Others..........richardmclaud@aol.com (Some are also trying to help me as well with my Joel)
